Discrimination + Harassment in the Workplace

Our interactive, modular curriculum empowers team members to identify, prevent, and respond to harassment and discrimination in the workplace. Situational-learning puts team members into realistic scenarios that sometimes venture into gray areas, challenging them to develop critical-thinking skills. We offer options to modify content for different audiences, from frontline team members to supervisors, managers, and corporate teams. More than compliance training, we hope our D+H content builds skills that will someday eliminate discrimination, harassment, sexual assault, and retaliation from the workplace.

Discrimination Prevention

Recognize and prevent workplace
discrimination by understanding legal protections and protected classes and how to identify discriminatory behaviors. You’ll explore scenarios and uncover the serious consequences of discrimination.

Harassment Prevention

Recognize and prevent workplace
harassment when it becomes unlawful, and how to respond. You’ll learn to recognize different forms of harassment, the legal standards involved, and how harassment impacts individuals and the workplace.

Sexual Harassment Prevention

Recognize and prevent sexual harassment, including legal definitions and examples. Learn how to respond to sexual harassment, with a focus on building a respectful and safe environment for all team members.

Abusive Conduct Prevention

Recognize and prevent abusive conduct in the workplace. You’ll learn the differences between unpleasant behavior and abusive conduct, understand the legal definitions, and explore examples of abusive conduct.

Hostile Work Environments

Recognize and prevent hostile work environments by understanding the legal definitions, identifying inappropriate behaviors, and creating a respectful and productive workplace. Explore scenarios and strategies for addressing issues.

From Bystander to Upstander

Learn the importance of taking action. Understand the bystander effect and the role of bystander intervention. Embrace the role of an upstander to foster a proactive and supportive environment.

Taking Action and Reporting Discrimination + Harassment

Develop tools to take action and report incidents of discrimination, harassment, and abusive conduct. Learn how to document and report incidents to create a safe, respectful work environment.

Retaliation Prevention

Learn how to respond appropriately to complaints and prevent retaliation. Recognize retaliatory behaviors, understand legal protections, and explore examples of how retaliation can harm individuals and teams of harassment or discrimination.

Creating Great Workplaces

Learn how to create a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace where all team members feel safe and supported. Develop key behaviors, like respectful communication, active listening, and responding to complaints.
